Because I liked how my prism paintings had turned out, I kept thinking of different ways to get a rainbow on a canvas. I came up with the idea of a rainbow "deconstructed" to explore each separate color of the prism on its own on a smaller canvas. I envisioned the flexibility of placing the different colors on a wall in different patterns (not necessarily ROYGBV).
