What’s Up, Buttercup?

I made this painting to go into the seasonal rotation for the wall in our house between the kitchen and the familiy room for late summer, trying to capture the hues and beauty of sunshine. As it happens, one of my patient's favorite colors is yellow, and she always greets me with "What's Up, Buttercup?" in our clinic visits, so with that in mind, I named it that. The grid is a combination of straight lines and circles, which I think makes the piece interesting. I added some small dots with a shimmery white golden color at the end to highlight some of the intersections.
