Having just done a lot of neutral/brown paintings for the Complexion series, I was in the mood to do a different color palette. This one is done in cool tones - aquas, teals, blues and greens, and the pattern I laid down makes use of quite a few circles, which ended up giving the piece a daisy-like feel to it. There is a lot of impasto in the piece, particularly with the metallic colors, which can really be appreciated when viewed in person.
