I was asked by a loved one to paint a picture to match the decor of a specific room - in golds, blues and whites and in the fashion of a smaller piece - "Rainbow Triangles, Left-handed" that is made up of lots of little triangles and that I did while my dominant hand was in a cast. So I laid down a triangle grid pattern, in larger triangles to match the perspective of the canvas I chose (a larger Fibonacci ratio canvas), and started in on the golds, blues and whites. Unfortunately, the person for whom the painting was being done did not like so many golds and such large triangles, and so the person opted not to put it on the wall. So I named it "Micromanaged" as a tongue-in-cheek (and possibly passive aggressive) commentary on the process. Fortunately another family member loved it, and it now hangs in her living room.
