Fall Kaleidoscope

My goal for this piece was to lay down a grid of circular and straight lines and then to fill it in with muted fall colors of burgundies, golds, rusty oranges and browns. I added inserts of colors to many of the larger shapes and then finished the piece with straight gold lines going from the edges through the center. It reminded me of an image you might see looking through a kaleidoscope when it was finished.
