I hadn’t planned on painting an image that looks very much like a daisy. Rather, I was exploring with the geometric compass on a square canvas, and when I had laid down the grid, I saw a flower shape amongst the lines. I decided that I would do a yellow center, and concentric petals of various whites interspersed with light blues, all on a dark blue background. As these are the colors of DanceBlue, I decided to call it “DanceBlue Daisy”.
