This is my first painting after preparing the "Prismatic" series for exhibition. Perhaps it was because I had just done many rainbow-themed paintings using the full visible color spectrum, I had the hankering to do one all in browns and neutrals. For the grid, I combined straight lines and circles, very similar to what I did with "Through the Fractured Looking Glass" (for the Prismatic series). There are dozens of distinct colors in here, all in the gray-silver-taupe-brown family.
