This is an extended prism - meaning that it's the ROYGBV colors with magentas and teals thrown in (because I like how they add to the prism). The canvas confirms to the Fibonacci ratio, and I laid down a complex repetetive grid, with some bleed over of colors from one family to the next to unify the piece. I emptied out the art cabinet for this one. In total there are 108 colors included, including 27 transparents, 18 metallics and 25 custom colors. My goal was to make each color family beautiful in its own right, but then to highlight how when they come together, they synergize to make something even more beautiful. The whole is improved by each individual; a metaphor for humanity.
