Helios

I was inspired for this painting soon after I saw an oriole on one of my bird feeders. I had binoculars, and was star-struck by the brilliance of the oranges and yellows in its feathers. It was like a piece of the sun, right there in my backyard. So in honor of the oriole, and rich in yellows and oranges, I made this symmetrical piece to represent Helios, the Sun God.
