Brown Starburst

Like an exploding star, this one seems to either be coming at you or receding away, depending on your mood and perspective. There used to be an off-green light brown in the painting, but over time I decided that it didn’t fit so this painting was “rehabilitated” and I changed the color to a metallic bronze months after it was initially finished. Now the hues seem more cohesive.
