I wanted to do a space-themed piece and came up with the idea of featuring the intermediate colors (orange, green and purple) as floating islands in a sea of complex dark neutrals. I also incorporated nine regions of gray ombre elements along the edges and in the center. It has a sort of futuristic, “sci-fi” feel to it.
