The Natural Elements- Water

I was inspired to do a series celebrating the "natural elements" of classical antiquity- Earth (Land), Water, Air (Wind), Fire and Space. I used matching sized canvases but tried to envision each element on its own, realizing that each is integral to the natural world in which we live. With "Water", I envisioned the different layers of water as they flow. I tried to capture motion and fluidity in this piece.
