Pink Eye

My goal here was a counter-current interplay of gradually darkening pink outlines (going toward the center) intermixed with gradually lightening grey shapes (going toward the perimeter). To me, it ended up looking like a central eye, and I came up with the name “Pink Eye” as a sort of play on conjunctivitis (also known as pink eye). My daughter took this one to Vassar where she hung it up on the wall in her living room in her apartment.
