Faceted Complexions

I developed this piece to be part of a larger group of paintings highlighting how beautiful different natural human complexions can be when combined together in interesting ways. There are about two dozen different brown colors embedded in this geometric grid, arranged in a symmetric pattern on a Fibonacci ratio sized canvas (conforms to the “golden ratio”).
