Eggshell Explosion

This was my first painting with bordering lines in a color other than black.  My daughter suggested light-colored lines, and I was hesitant at first, but I changed my mind when I realized the warm tones of the piece could look good with ivory or off-white lines.  I added some yellow (I think it was Naples Yellow Hue) to Titanium white to generate the “eggshell” color that gives the painting its name.  To me, it resembles an orderly but progressive explosion of warm colors.
