DanceBlue Collaboration

This trio represents a collaboration between my daughter Julia and I. The pediatric hematology/oncology clinic in which I work has benefitted from the remarkable support and generosity of a University of Kentucky student-led philanthropic organization called “DanceBlue”. It was originally the brainchild of two dedicated and perseverant women who teamed up with a lasting philanthropic vision in mind. As a tribute to the organization, we made this trio. I painted the large Mondrian-like centerpiece and Julia painted the smaller paintings at both ends one representing the University of Kentucky, and the other the DanceBlue organization featuring the pediatric oncology ribbon of hope. It hangs in our clinic conference room.
