I made this one for my wife’s office. She loves the repetitive pattern of a grid, and blues very much appeal to her. I was challenged by the failure of the canvas to adequately hold the paint in place (it would peel off along the edges when tape was removed), but managed to finish the piece to her satisfaction. It currently hangs behind her desk at work. Finding good canvases to do this kind of geometric painting can be challenging – they should be drum-tight (not sag) and be primed so that acrylic paints adhere sufficiently so as not to come off easily when tape is removed.
