A Purple Web for Julia

I painted this one on the request of my daughter Julia, who wanted a painting filled with purple – her favorite color – for her room. I used several shades of purple in the piece, separated by black lines in a pattern that reminded me of a spider web. She has it hanging in a prominent place on the wall – an overdose of purple!
